As part of our Building New Habits strategy, we embraced upcycling and started transforming used materials into purposeful everyday items. A powerful example? The ConsciousDress—an elegant, upcycled evening gown designed not just as clothing, but as a source of inspiration.

Brunel Foundation x Vanhulley

The Brunel Foundation partners with Vanhulley to give old Brunel-branded materials a second life, transforming waste into new products. This collaboration supports sustainability while empowering Vanhulley’s mission. Vanhulley is dedicated to boosting employability for those on the edge of the labor market, with a special focus on women from immigrant communities. Through skill-building and hands-on training, the organization helps them gain financial independence, grow social connections, and step confidently into new opportunities—all while making the world more sustainable.

Brunel Anniversary Bag: From Old to Gold

Designed in collaboration with Vanhulley’s top designer and coach, Femke de Klerk, the Brunel Anniversary Bag is a true testament to creativity and sustainability. Crafted from high-quality fabrics once destined for landfills, these materials are rescued, repurposed, and transformed into something truly special.

For every bag, €10 will be donated to a charity, supporting meaningful change and making a positive impact. In the order form you can suggest a charity or non-profit organization that truly speaks to your heart. The Brunel Foundation will carefully select one to receive the donations.
