Documentary "My Journey for Education" and Live Q&A Prove to be Huge Success

My journey for education

On Wednesday December 2, 2020, the Brunel Foundation hosted a webcast on the premiere of Merlijn Goldsack’s documentary ‘My Journey for Education’, the true story of Merlijn’s childhood experience growing up and learning with autism, and his perseverance and believe in himself no matter what. His research on autism education led him everywhere from the US to Finland.

Besides Brunel colleagues from different regions, many others joined in from very different backgrounds: parents with a child with autism, people with diagnosed autism spectrum disorder, Brunel Foundation partners, politicians, employers, educators and more. As of now, over 3,340 people have already viewed the film on YouTube.

After viewing the documentary, Merlijn openly answered various questions from the viewers during a live Q&A. Lots of positive but also emotional reactions on the documentary and Merlijn’s story were shared in the chat and later on.

You can see the 45-minute full documentary here and the Q&A afterwards here.
