Introduction

Working closely with the Project Engineer and site supervisors, you'll assist with planning, documentation, and day to day delivery on a major infrastructure project. You'll be involved in quality control, site inspections, programming support, subcontractor coordination and general project administration.

What are you going to do 

  • Support Project Engineers with daily site coordination and project administration
  • Maintain QA documentation including ITPs, inspection records and project registers
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys and technical checks on civil works
  • Assist with programming, planning and sequencing of site activities
  • Manage dockets, cost tracking and plant/labour records
  • Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers on daily work fronts
  • Assist with preparation of variations, EOTs and project reporting
  • Ensure works comply with project specifications, standards and company systems

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 2-6 years experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in civil construction
  • Experience on roads, infrastructure or major earthworks projects
  • Strong understanding of QA systems, ITPs and civil specifications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work closely with site supervisors
  • Engineering or Construction Management qualification preferred
  • Must be an Australian / NZ Citizen or
