Introduction

What are you going to do 

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support day to day HSE activities at a major LNG facility. This position is responsible for promoting a safe work environment by providing field safety support, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in incident investigations, and working closely with operations, maintenance, and contractor teams.

* Support implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across the facility.

* Maintain a strong field presence by conducting routine safety inspections, audits, and behavioral observations.

* Support Control of Work activities, including Permit to Work, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, and Energy Isolation.

* Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.

* Conduct hazard assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews, and risk assessments.

* Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and emergency response planning.

* Deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field coaching.

* Maintain HSE documentation, safety metrics, and compliance records.

* Work closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, and site leadership to promote safe work practices.

Essential skills and knowledge 

* 5+ years of Health and Safety experience in LNG, petrochemical, refinery, chemical, or other high hazard industrial facilities.

* Experience with Permit to Work systems, LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, and contractor safety.

* Experience conducting field inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

* Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards.

* Experience supporting operations, maintenance, commissioning, startup, or turnaround activities is preferred.

* TWIC Card required or ability to obtain one before starting.

* ASP, GSP, CSP, or other relevant HSE certifications are preferred.
