Introduction

Our client is a family-owned agribusiness that has been operating in south-east Queensland for decades and has always remained a people-first business. You'll be joining a well-established team and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same. We're open to highly expereinced electricians from different backgrounds, as well as electricians who are fresh out of their apprenticeship (you will be able to continue your learning with other tenured staff).

What are you going to do 

About the role

  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and industrial electrical equipment

  • Carry out fault finding, testing, and diagnosis of electrical systems and malfunctions

  • Deliver commercial and industrial electrical installations, upgrades, and project work across all sites

  • Perform both planned and reactive maintenance in line with operational requirements

  • Assemble and install electrical and electronic components and equipment

  • Read and interpret electrical, control, and instrumentation schematics and drawings

  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster (one weekend every four weeks)

Essential skills and knowledge 

About You

  • Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)

  • Driver's Licence Class C

  • Understanding of control equipment and generators

  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Good general knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations

  • Current LVR/CPR

  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
