Introduction

We’re hiring Deputy Engineering Manager for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Mumbai.

What are you going to do 

  • Position: Deputy Engineering Manager;
  • YOE: 8 to 10 Years;
  • Contract: Permanent Rôle ;
  • Location: Mumbai ;
  • To lead the engineering studies on the project and to carry out the associated technical coordination;
  • Ensure the production and quality of key technical deliverables by engineering subcontractors in order to perform FEED or detailled Engineering on modular Projects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 8 to 10 Years experience with at least 5 years in the engineering team and or engineering manager role of oil & gas projects;
  • With a higher scientific education, Process, Mechanical of General Engineering;
  • Must have worked as an Engineering Manager in an EPC company or on EPC projects;
  • Experience with Design and Detailled Engineering Modularization Projects;
  • Good knowledge about Process, Piping, Layout, Structures and Electrical engineering disciplines;
  • Good technical knowledge in the majority of the areas covered by the engineering disciplines is appreciated but not mandatory;
  • Experience of international codes like ASME, TEMA, API, NACE, ANSI, GOST;
  • Good knowledge about 3D software Aveva, Smartplan, Navisworks;
  • Knowledge about Aveva Diagrams, Smartplan P&IDs and Tekla, Caesar is appreciated;
  • Must be able to lead multiple disciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines;
  • Must have excellent design related skills in terms of interpreting designs and to help the design team produce working or production drawings effectively;
  • Good level of English and Indian language (Indian native preferred).
