What are you going to do 

We are partnering with our client, a leading organization in the Oil and Gas sector, to appoint a Deputy Construction Manager on a contract basis. This is a key role supporting major construction activities, where you will work closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will be a central part of our client's team, contributing to critical energy infrastructure in the region and helping drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As Deputy Construction Manager, you will support the Construction Manager in overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • You will coordinate with subcontractors, manage site operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and help drive project schedules and budgets.
  • Your leadership will be essential in maintaining effective communication among project stakeholders and resolving any issues that arise on site.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction management or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
