What are you going to do

  • Support procurement and quality activities from RFQ stage through manufacturing and final delivery.
  • Participate in vendor meetings (KOM, PIM) and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
  • Review and provide comments on vendor documents, including painting and coating procedures.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders on technical clarifications and quality issues.
  • Monitor vendor progress and inspection activities, including in-process inspections, pressure testing, FAT, and final inspection.
  • Verify Notice of Inspection (NOI) readiness and coordinate with third-party inspection coordinators.
  • Review inspection reports and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including tracking, follow-up, and closure within required timelines.
  • Review manufacturer record books and as-built dossiers for completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates on vendor package status to Engineering, Procurement, and Client teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC, procurement quality, or vendor inspection within oil & gas, EPC, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards and codes such as ISO 9001, NACE, SSPC, and NORSOK.
  • Familiarity with coating, painting inspection, and corrosion-related quality control practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as NACE Level 2, SSPC, NORSOK, or BGAS-CSWIP Grade II preferred.
  • Good understanding of inspection processes including FAT, pressure testing, and vendor quality control.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
