- Serve as the site-based piping designer, acting as the key liaison between the Engineering Office and the Site Execution Team.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure proper fabrication and installation of pipe supports, piping, tubing, and site routings in line with project standards and drawings.
- Resolve technical challenges and inter-discipline issues by liaising with both design and execution teams.
- Prepare and manage site instructions, engineering site queries, and management of change documentation, ensuring timely resolutions and proper tracking.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards during construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections to confirm compliance with design specifications and proactively address any discrepancies.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders—including subcontractors, construction, and commissioning teams—to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide technical guidance to optimize workflows and troubleshoot any issues arising during construction and pre-commissioning, including coordination with relevant vendors.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong expertise in piping design, layout, and marine systems.
- 15–20 years of experience in piping design, including floating production systems and site construction.
- Hands-on involvement in FEED, Proposals, Basic & Detailed Design, and Construction phases.
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in an international and fast-changing setting.
- Proficiency in Aveva Marine/PDMS Design and Navisworks.
