Luffing Crane Operator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Luffing Crane Operator to support heavy lifting operations at Tuas Mega Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient crane operations in compliance with site safety standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate luffing cranes for lifting and positioning heavy loads as per project plans.
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks and ensure proper functioning of crane systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and lifting plans to prevent incidents.
• Coordinate with rigging teams and site supervisors for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore MOM Crane Operator Licence (Luffing Crane category).
• Must have a valid SSIC/SSSC (Shipyard Safety Instruction Course / Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating luffing cranes in shipyard or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment and adapt to changing schedules.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.

Shift Details & Pay

Day Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM – 06:45 PM (with overtime)
• Friday: 08:00 AM – 06:30 PM (with overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 AM – 06:30 PM (overtime)

Overtime (Day Shift):

• Monday to Thursday: From 05:15 PM onwards
• Friday: From 04:30 PM onwards
• Saturday & Sunday: Full day considered overtime

Night Shift:

• Monday to Sunday: 07:00 PM – 05:00 AM (with overtime)

Overtime (Night Shift):

• Monday to Friday: From 04:00 AM onwards
• Saturday & Sunday: Full shift considered overtime

Rate:

• Hourly rate: $30 per hour

Additional Information

• Worksite: Tuas Mega Yard
• Schedule: Monday to Sunday (rotational shifts)
• Start Date: Immediate / January onwards 2026
