Introduction

  • Develop and execute processes and procedures specifically aimed at ensuring the key Operations Readiness deliverables from these new Offshore projects Emergency Pipelines Repair System (EPRS) which is suitably risk assessed, designed, and procured to mitigate credible emergency scenarios during Operations.
  • Including a holistic approach to ensure EPRS systems for new Projects in combination with existing EPRS tools are meeting Operations requirements and expectations.
  • Operating within established structures, procedures, standards and methodologies utilizes analytical, interpretative, constructive thinking, and evaluative judgement to address complex discipline specific and multidiscipline problems in relation to offshore/ onshore EPRS requirements.
  • Requires developing work methods from several alternative options in accordance with established programs, procedures and professional standards to ensure work can be executed.
  • Interfaces with multiple stake holders.

What are you going to do 

  • Good awareness on the design, operation, limitations, and Uncertainties, of Pipelines and related EPRS tools. Requirements for EPRS related manuals, procedures and studies.
  • Frequent reviews and update the Damage Assessment Study/ Reports and EPRS Manuals, etc. to ensure a practical approach been followed, based on the development in industry standards and Company LL.
  • Provide guidance in pipeline isolation and expertise. Sufficient EPRS fit-for-purpose Inventory of Equipment, Tools and Material including spares, for different potential scenarios.
  • Positive influence and engagement with the team to drive the early startup of the EPRS development activities for new pipelines including optimization of existing.
  • Identify and close gaps in current EPRS tools and procedures, including evaluating the technical usability / Inter-compatibility.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EPRS processes, equipment and documentation, implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide inputs and stewardship of pipeline isolation scope of works under different defect scenarios.
  • Support timely by providing guidance to support closure of a wide array of issues related to the safe execution of the EPRS project.
  • Provide inputs knowledge sharing by capturing and communicating lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
  • Ensure technical alignment with Company Operations; familiarize EPRS Contractors with execution plans, procedures, objectives being optimization of the existing EPRS manuals with new projects. Including development of Scope of Works for additional studies.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EPRS processes, equipment and documentation, implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelors degree in sciences or engineering
  • 8 years’ experience in technical roles in petroleum or chemical plants in the field of design, inspection and maintenance of process equipment, with broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, offshore facilities & structure design, construction and operations.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
