Introduction

  • The Commissioning Lead (Telecom and Cybersecurity) is responsible for managing telecom and Industrial control system security (ICSS) cybersecurity commissioning activities of the Offshore project to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
  • Interfaces with various project teams to resolve related issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
  • Provide start-up /performance test support on remote wellhead platform.
  • Maintain company strict ICSS Cybersecurity requirement / practice during commissioning (including vendor SAT).
  • Offshore mobilization to support commissioning offshore team will be required on request.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage all execution of Telecom packages and ICSS cyber activities to achieve commissioning schedule on target maximizing onshore commissioning activities vs offshore with all safety requirements (including SIMOPS)
  • Monitor of the vendors activities during SAT, Punchlist clearance, OTP etc.
  • Monitor the contractor telecom and ICSS cybersecurity commissioning activities making sure the commissioning methodology of project is respected, and the system database is used properly
  • Maintain company strict Cybersecurity requirements / practices as per Company standards and policies, International Cybersecurity standard IEC 62443 and framework during commissioning /execution.
  • Monitor Cybersecurity implementation for ICSS systems which comprises of DCS, IPS, FGS, Control systems for Electrical such as ELICS and also third-party packages e.g. HIPPS, PLC etc.
  • Monitor network firewalls, L2/L3/L3.5 network implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Make sure that the required telecom commissioning spare parts and special tools are available
  • Review and approval of telecom and cybersecurity commissioning deliverables provided by Contractor
  • Provide guidance and timely review on contractor’s commissioning execution plan and processes verifying fitness for purpose and compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards
  • Maintain a register of lessons learned related to telecom packages and cybersecurity for commissioning.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering
  • 8 years experience with relevant certifications (CCNA, IEC 62443 etc.) including 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experiences for commissioning execution of Telecom equipment packages such as RADIO (UHF/VHF, VHF MARINE), RACON, ACS, PAGA, Data LAN & WAN, Meteorological, CCTV, Telephone, etc. fabrication yard and onshore and offshore included interface work with other contractors.
  • FO cable is familiar with OTDR and power meter test (preparation, execution and acceptance criteria).
  • Hands on experiences with ICS (Industrial Control System) Network and Cybersecurity (Familiarity with IEC62443 will be advantages).
  • Experience with network firewalls, L2/L3 network implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience implementing End-Point security and system backup solutions.
  • Experience as interface focal point with multiple contractors on preparation, the execution phase including SIMOPS.
  • Experience managed EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved at many locations.
  • Familiar with system completion database.
  • Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications, international standard and a working knowledge of Industry standards.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
  • Expert in reading P&IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.
  • Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and
  • systems completion.
  • Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.
  • Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.
  • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
  • Experience in start-up support to Operation.
