Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting for a Wells Material Coordinator provide direct support for the Wells Engineering and Operations Teams (Onshore and Offshore) and act as a Wells focal point for all drilling, intervention, completion, and P&A materials management. This will be a 12 month contract located in Perth CBD!

About this role

  • Providing the scope of material supply, supplier proposals / quotations, required delivery timing and technical specifications
  • Supporting the Wells Team in managing the process forward from material purchasing, through manufacturing and delivery tracking and to inventory management at the warehouse or pipe yard
  • Supporting the management of eventual material disposal or replacement as necessary
  • The Logistics and material movement responsibilities (onshore & offshore) remain with the SCM Logistics team; however, you will be closely connected and aware of all material movements
  • Provide advice on all matters relating to Wells material procurement and inventory management, act as a Subject Matter Expert on the relevant procurement and inventory governance, workflows, processes and software systems

Is this you?

  • Ability to engagement with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire Business Unit
  • Strong working relationships and communication skills with functional representatives from Wells, SCM (Logistics, Materials, Contracts & Procurement teams), Finance, Commercial, Asset team and Operations
  • ERP inventory management experience
  • Warehouse process experience
  • Technical material management skills
  • JD Edwards experience will be well received
  • Previous Drilling and Completion/ Offshore material management experience is desirable
