Introduction

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Senior PE to support the delivery of early-phase technical studies for a major green iron program. This is a 12-month contract based in Perth, offering the opportunity to work within an owner's team environment, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering inputs & helping shape technical strategy, materials testing programs, & equipment selection for a decarbonisation initiative.

About this role

  • Deliver defined early-phase technical study packages within an owner's team study environment
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs across process, mechanical, electrical and related disciplines
  • Support development and refinement of study strategies, objectives, and technical pathways
  • Manage materials testing programs and interface with laboratories, pilot or demonstration facilities
  • Lead technical and commercial engagement with equipment OEMs to establish design and cost assumptions

Is this you?

  • FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Process Engineering
  • Experience delivering early-phase studies (concept, scoping, or pre-feasibility) in a project or owner's team environment
  • Background in minerals processing - experience in gold, copper, or similar processing circuits (e.g. crushing, grinding, leaching) is highly relevant; direct iron ore experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to materials testing programs and/or pilot or demonstration plants is strongly regarded, but not mandatory for the right candidate
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage multiple study workstreams
