Systems Test Engineer

In this pivotal role, you'll help shape the success of complex integrated systems that span cloud, firmware, hardware, and software. You'll use your testing expertise to solve sophisticated problems, ensure product reliability, and align technical outcomes with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute robust test plans covering system functionality, performance, and reliability.
Conduct hands-on system testing, validating seamless integration across components.
Implement and enhance automated test frameworks to boost efficiency and test coverage.
Deliver detailed test reports that offer insights into system behavior and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and support.
Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
Work within an Agile Scrum environment, bringing best-practice testing principles to the team.
Technical Competencies - Essential:
Solid experience as a systems tester across complex, multi-component solutions.
Proficiency in Python, C++, SQL, and experience in scripting test automation.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S) and related test tools.
Familiarity with RF, digital electronics, and embedded systems.
Confident in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across software and hardware layers.
Hands-on experience with Linux and Android platforms.
Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and contributing to collaborative team efforts.
Desirable Experience:
5+ years in software development, testing, and validation.
Exposure to source control (Git), issue tracking (JIRA), and continuous integration systems.
Experience with automated test frameworks, protocol analyzers, and telemetry systems.
Background in wireless technologies (Bluetooth, WiFi), CAN Bus, and RS232/485.
Knowledge of GPS tracking, surveying applications, or the mining and heavy vehicle industry.
Relevant certifications like ISTQB or Agile Testing (ICP-TST) are a plus
