About this role

We are currently seeking Simulation Engineer - to work on a contract basis on an exciting green energy project .The position will be based in the Perth. For further information about this position please apply.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Development of simulation tools to drive decision making on decarbonation programs, including electrification and hybridisation.
  • Help drive decisions on technology pathways, control philosophies and high-level engineering decisions based on simulation data/tools
  • Develop validation plans to ensure simulations are of high quality and had fidelity required to determine real world constrains and conclusions

Is this you?

  • Degree qualified Engineering qualifications - Electrical/Mechatronics/Systems Engineering degree is well regarded
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Data Science
  • Demonstrated background building complex multi-physics simulations (Simulink / MATLAB / Simscape)
  • Experience with embedded code
  • Experience with SiL & HiL frameworks
  • Experience with the testing, verification, and validation of models and simulations
  • Software proficiency with C/C++ or Python
  • MBSE experience
