Introduction

We are seeking a Senior Atlassian & Microsoft 365 Specialist to provide technical leadership, governance and optimisation across enterprise collaboration platforms. This Perth-based 6-month contract role supports secure, scalable and business-aligned digital workplace services while acting as the Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents and requests

About this role

The Senior Atlassian & Microsoft 365 Specialist provides technical leadership, governance and optimisation across collaboration platforms, ensuring secure, scalable and business-aligned services. The role spans BAU support, complex escalation management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration and governance of Microsoft 365 and Atlassian platforms.
  • Drive platform optimisation, automation, adoption and uplift aligned to enterprise standards.
  • Act as the escalation point for Level 3 incidents and requests, providing expert resolution and technical guidance.
  • Provide senior technical leadership across both project delivery and BAU operations.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners to ensure reliable, well-governed services.
  • Support integration, change and uplift initiatives across enterprise collaboration environments.
  • Maintain platform security, governance and compliance aligned to organisational requirements.

Is this you?

  • Hands-on administration and leadership of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and security/governance features.
  • Strong working knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including workflows, permissions, spaces and governance models.
  • Understanding of Microsoft and Atlassian licensing and true-up processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 backup strategies and tooling.
  • Proven capability acting as a Level 3 escalation point resolving complex incidents and requests.
  • Demonstrated experience uplifting governance, standards, automation and adoption across collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to balance BAU stability with continuous improvement and project delivery.
