Introduction

Be part of a major LNG project shaping the future of the North West Shelf. This Perth-based role will support the integration of Browse gas into the Karratha Gas Plant, contributing to key engineering decisions across early project phases and future plant modifications.

About this role

  • Develop and maintain process simulation models (Aspen HYSYS) to assess the impact of Browse gas on Karratha Gas Plant operations.
  • Identify and support plant modifications required for Browse gas integration.
  • Collaborate with Browse Project, NWS Business Unit, Operations and Engineering teams.
  • Support engineering studies, including developing scopes of work and managing contractors.
  • Review and validate engineering reports, studies and technical deliverables.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports and decision records.
  • Provide process engineering input to the Karratha Gas Plant Basis of Design.
  • Contribute to environmental compliance and decarbonisation initiatives.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support early project development phases including concept and Pre-FEED studies.

Is this you?

  • Demonstrated Process Engineering experience within the oil & gas industry, ideally in LNG or gas processing.
  • Strong capability in process modelling using Aspen HYSYS.
  • Experience supporting early project phases such as Concept, Pre-FEED or FEED.
  • Understanding of operating assets and brownfield plant modifications.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing engineering studies and contractor deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
  • Full Australian working rights required.
