We're seeking reliable, hands-on Production Operators to join our clients Subassembly and Soldering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, technical work and have a keen interest in electronics, precision assembly, and quality processes.
Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components and subassemblies.
Carry out hand soldering and basic solder operations in line with work instructions and quality standards.
Prepare parts, tools, fixtures, and equipment required for daily production tasks.
Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Follow written and verbal instructions, work orders, and production drawings to ensure correct assembly.
Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks to identify defects and ensure finished assemblies meet specifications.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area; comply with all workplace safety and quality procedures.
Support general production duties as required, including packaging, labelling, and documentation.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly role preferred.
Hands-on experience with basic hand tools and comfort working with small components.
A basic understanding of electronics (components, circuits, soldering) and willingness to learn is highly desirable.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, read simple drawings or work orders, and produce consistent quality results.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
