Introduction
As a Specialist Indirect Procurement, you are the key link between manufacturing sites, internal stakeholders, and suppliers. You ensure that indirect procurement categories such as Facilities, MRO and biologics-related services are sourced strategically, compliantly, and cost-effectively. In this role, you directly influence cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation in a GMP-regulated environment.
About this role
- Strategic sourcing & supplier managementYou develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, lead RFIs and RFPs, evaluate suppliers, and drive consolidation, savings, and risk mitigation.
- Site-level stakeholder managementYou support manufacturing and site stakeholders with procurement decisions, ensure site spend aligns with agreed sourcing strategies, and challenge requirements when needed.
- Contract negotiation & contract managementYou lead and participate in supplier negotiations (including contracts > €10M), implement contracts, ensure compliance, and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
- Analysis, governance & continuous improvementYou analyse spend, supplier performance, and KPIs (such as PPV and Working Capital), safeguard SAP procurement data, and proactively improve procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Is this you?
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree hbo in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or Procurement.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba or eSourcing (Coupa is a plus).
- Preferably experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP-regulated environment.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Dutch is a strong advantage).
- Living in the Nehterlands.
