Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Mining Company, Brunel is presently sourcing an Operational Readiness Specialist to ensure the successful completion of all operational readiness activities in alignment with the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. This will be a 6 month contract located in the Perth CBD.

About this role

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Delivery Team to comprehend the scope and schedule, ensuring the availability of operational readiness information, such as IOM, equipment registers, datasheets, P&ID's, etc
  • Liaise with Asset Owners to clarify the operational readiness activities, facilitating and coordinating any identified gaps and provide regular progress updates until handover
  • Work closely with Central Support functions including Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering and Reliability to ensure adherence and compliance with corporate standards and guidelines
  • Conduct spares criticality assessment, cataloguing and stock holding in collaboration with the Site Maintenance & Engineering Team and Central Asset Management Team ensuring compliance with Maintenance Philosophy
  • Create/update SAP Function locations, Equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans, maintenance items, tasklist
  • Lead and facilitate meetings
  • Provide regular progress reports while actively managing schedules and budgets

Is this you?

  • Trade qualification preferred
  • Maintenance Planning experience
  • Proficient in SAP Master Data Change/Create
  • Relevant mining industry experience
  • Strong grasp of Maintenance Processes
  • Indepth understanding of Operational Readiness Fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Project Delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in facilitating and presenting at meetings
  • Logical and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Budget management expertise and reporting skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
