Introduction

Our client, a leading major resources business with a significant project portfolio in Western Australia, is seeking experienced Document Controllers to support a range of high-profile capital and sustaining projects. These opportunities sit within a major projects environment and will suit professionals who thrive in structured, fast-paced project teams and understand the importance of accurate, timely and compliant document management.

About this role

Working as part of established engineering and project delivery teams, you will play a key role in supporting document control processes across project lifecycles, ensuring documentation is managed, tracked, issued and maintained in line with project and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation in accordance with document control procedures and standards
  • Register, track, distribute and archive incoming and outgoing project documents
  • Maintain document control systems and ensure accuracy of metadata, revisions and workflows
  • Liaise with engineering, project and contractor stakeholders to ensure document compliance and timely processing
  • Support reporting, audits and document handover activities throughout the project lifecycle

Is this you?

  • Previous project document control experience
  • Experience using document control systems such as InEight Document, Aconex, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a project environment
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Vocational training in Records Management, Information Technology, Information Management, or equivalent practical experience will be highly regarded
