Introduction

We are partnering with a tier one global mining operator delivering a diverse pipeline of major capital projects across iron ore process plants, renewables, HV transmission infrastructure, civil works, sustaining capital and emerging developments.

It is a project systems and commissioning execution role focused on building structured completion architecture from engineering data through to operational handover.

About this role

This position sits at the front end of project execution. You will establish the completions model before construction and commissioning scale, ensuring disciplined systemisation, data integrity and certificate-based progression are embedded from day one.

You will build the structure. You will configure the system.
You will enforce the data discipline.

Then transition the framework to embedded execution teams.

Role Scope

You will design and operationalise a completions framework supporting:

  • Manufacture and FAT integration
  • Installation verification
  • Punch governance and structured closure
  • Certificate-based gate progression
  • Controlled handover to operations

Key ResponsibilitiesCMS Configuration & Execution Framework (OMEGA PIMS)

  • Configure and administer OMEGA PIMS to enable structured completions workflows
  • Define verification boundaries (systems or defined portions)
  • Build ITR libraries, punch workflows, certification logic and dashboards
  • Establish CMS configuration governance and change control
  • Develop CMS standards, templates and training modules

Data Integrity & Integration

  • Ingest engineering, procurement, vendor and contractor datasets in varying formats
  • Clean, validate and rationalise equipment and tag data prior to CMS upload
  • Identify traceability gaps, duplication and inconsistencies
  • Establish repeatable ingestion and quality control processes
  • Enable structured data exchange between engineering, construction, commissioning and operational readiness

Completions Architecture & Governance

  • Validate systemisation and boundary structures against CMS capability
  • Ensure lifecycle separation between manufacture, installation verification, commissioning and handover
  • Partner with Commissioning leadership to develop and standardise ITR libraries
  • Support staged handover and certificate-based progression
  • Provide portfolio-level oversight of CMS integrity during execution

Is this you?

You must demonstrate:

  • Hands-on configuration and administration of OMEGA PIMS (or equivalent completions system) on major capital projects
  • Proven experience building completion structures from engineering data through to certification and operational handover
  • Deep understanding of installation verification, punch governance and commissioning readiness
  • Advanced Excel capability (PowerQuery or equivalent data transformation skills)
  • Demonstrated ability to cleanse, reconcile and structure large imperfect datasets
  • Experience integrating engineering registers, vendor data and contractor records into executable completion workflows

Highly Desirable

  • Iron ore process plant project experience
  • HV transmission, substations, solar, wind or BESS exposure
  • Modular fabrication and off-site assembly experience
  • Experience onboarding project teams into structured CMS environments

What we offer

  • This is a rare opportunity to shape completions architecture across a technically complex portfolio within a tier one mining environment
  • Perth based position
  • Salary sacrificing
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Corporate discounts
