Introduction

Senior Materials & Integrity Engineer responsible for delivering long-term pressure equipment and corrosion management strategies across operating LNG assets. This role provides technical authority in materials selection, inspection, welding, coatings and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), while supporting brownfield projects to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective outcomes aligned with company and regulatory standards.

About this role

  • Lead materials, corrosion and pressure equipment integrity strategies across operating LNG assets
  • Oversee and optimise Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs, inspection frequencies and degradation management plans
  • Provide technical authority in materials selection, corrosion mitigation, welding, coatings, insulation and NDT
  • Conduct annual corrosion health checks and asset condition assessments
  • Develop and maintain long-term integrity management plans aligned with Australian and company standards
  • Provide discipline input into brownfield projects including Basis of Design, Scope of Work and technical specifications
  • Support site-based construction, inspection, commissioning and handover activities
  • Drive contractor performance and ensure compliance with engineering standards and management systems
  • Maintain integrity data within SAP and integrity management systems
  • Collaborate with Operations, Projects and HSSE teams to manage technical risk and ensure safe, reliable outcomes

Is this you?

  • Degree in Materials, Metallurgy or related Engineering discipline
  • Extensiive years' experience in materials, corrosion, inspection and pressure equipment integrity within Oil & Gas/LNG
  • Strong knowledge of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and Australian industry standards
  • Experience supporting operating assets and brownfield projects
  • Strong stakeholder and contractor management capability
  • Certifications such as API 510/570/653/580 or NACE CIP (desirable)
  • Experience with SAP or integrity systems such as Bentley APM (desirable)
