Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Portfolio Lead - Sustaining Capital, Contracts & Procurement, responsible for highlighting communicating accurate insights across multiple strategic and tactical initiatives. This will be a 10 month maternity leave contract, located in the heart of the Perth CBD.

About this role

  • Lead and develop a small team of analysts, accountable for delivering portfolio support to the Sustaining Capital Contracts & Procurement function
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels through open and transparent engagement
  • Design, develop and enhance procurement reporting including Power BI dashboards and system-based solutions
  • Collaborate with analysts across the business and the Data Analytics Team to continuously improve performance metrics and reporting capability
  • Translate complex data models and sources into meaningful insights, trends and recommendations
  • Manage and deliver regular reporting to procurement stakeholders
  • Represent Sustaining Capital Contracts & Procurement on global procurement and sustaining capital initiatives, as required
  • Act as the point of contact for portfolio contract management systems including ownership of vendor relationships from a Contracts & Procurement perspective

Is this you?

  • Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen
  • Proven experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI
  • Familiarity with contract management systems such as Ariba and/or Contruent (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • An agile mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, team development and psychological safety
