Introduction

Brunel are seeking an expereinced Foreman for a well-established construction company specialising in retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This position will lead onsite teams for a $30m new build project in North Brisbane.

You'll play a key role in project delivery, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards that exceed client expectations. This is a hands-on, leadership role with scope to manage daily activities, coordinate subcontractors, and drive team performance.

About this role

  • Lead onsite construction activities, keeping projects on schedule and meeting high-quality standards.

  • Mentor, motivate, and manage trades and crews to maximise productivity and safety.

  • Read and interpret plans, oversee sequencing of work, and coordinate subcontractors.

  • Drive a proactive safety culture with regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and corrective actions.

  • Report progress and collaborate with project management to deliver projects on time and budget.

Is this you?

  • Proven Foreman experience on commercial or retail construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies, and site safety.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • White Card and relevant trade or supervisory qualifications preferred.

  • Hands-on, practical, and ready to take ownership of your projects.
