Introduction

Our client is a well-established Australian supplier supporting the energy, mining and industrial sectors, with a strong reputation for delivering quality products and reliable service. They specialise in providing industrial equipment and consumables including pipe, valves, fittings and related components used across critical infrastructure and resource projects.

What are you going to do

  • Receive, inspect and accurately process incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Unload and load trucks safely using forklift and manual handling techniques
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch in line with delivery schedules
  • Ensure all outgoing goods are correctly labelled, documented and meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate stock records through warehouse systems and manual checks where required
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with supervisors
  • Store goods in correct locations to ensure efficient retrieval and space utilisation
  • Maintain a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment at all times
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in line with procedures
  • Work closely with purchasing, sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Follow all WHS policies and procedures and actively contribute to a safe workplace culture

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Current forklift licence (essential).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role (preferred).
  • Experience with pipe, flanges and fittings or oil & gas equipment will be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
