Introduction

Our clinet is seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to diagnose, repair, test, and maintain underground electrical and electronic systems. You will perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, ensuring equipment reliability while complying with site procedures and underground mining safety standards. Working within a collaborative team, you will help maximise equipment availability and support safe, efficient production.

What are you going to do

The role included:

  • Electrical diagnosis, repair, testing and servicing of underground electrical and electronic systems.
  • Planned maintenance and breakdown support.
  • Maintaining high equipment reliability and availability.
  • Working safely in accordance with underground mining regulations.
  • Testing and commissioning.
  • FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Candidate requirment:

  • WA Electrical Workers Licence
  • LVR/CPR
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence
  • Working at Heights
  • Dangerous Goods
  • Underground mining experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • First Aide, High Voltage, Confined Space (Desirable)
