The Systems Completion Lead is responsible for overseeing, leading and tracking the mechanical completion and systems handover activities.
Ensuring sub-system and system meet project specification requirements as per approved procedures.
What are you going to do
Ensuring ITR's, Punch Lists and exceptions are closed before offering completion certificate for approval. Supporting construction and commissioning teams to monitor the progress of the sub-system/system into systems completion data base.
Monitor and track the Integrity of the Systems Completion Database (SCDB), monitor changes, data integrity and reporting.
Including but not limited to: tag creation and verification, ITR's are properly defined and allocated as per approved Tag Type Matrix (TTM), document allocation, processing and transmitting; punch list creation, exception creation and tracking, report generation for various documentation and tracking purposes.
Highlight inconsistency that may affect database integrity, tag verification and/or ITR allocation.
Verify the completeness of EPC CONTRACTOR's completion dossiers for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning through to handover to permanent asset.
Review CONTRACTOR's work packs, tools, commissioning plans to ensure a smooth and safe hand-over to permanent organization.
Monitor and verify CONTRACTOR's preservation activities meet project requirements.
Coordinate, capture, and share SC Lessons Learned (LL) for inclusion in the project lessons learned register.
Monitor progress and status of subsystems using the completion management system and ensure timely handovers.
Ensure accurate and complete as-built documentation and certification dossiers for turnover to Operations.
Oversee and control all mechanical completion (MC), pre-commissioning (CSA), and commissioning documentation (RFSU).
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
8 years' experience with large project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience in Mechanical Completion and System Handover roles within oil & gas, petrochemical, or large industrial projects.
Strong knowledge and understanding of certificate types and certification gates
Strong knowledge and understanding of ITR types and stages
Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization
Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) such as WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar.
Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning interfaces.
Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices.
A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a site environment.
Effective leadership. Contractor coordination and reporting skills.
Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, computer literacy.
