Senior Contract Analyst

Introduction
Perform tender/contract analysis to develop and prepare tenders/contracts supported by effective tendering and pricing strategies ensuring best value for the Company.
Interpreting the complexities of numerous critical and complex tender and contract documents, to respond accurately and comprehensively to enquiries for clarification after consulting relevant stakeholders.
Complex contractual terms requires to be analyzed, options developed, logical recommendations made and actioned with effective Contractor interaction to assure Company financial and reputational interests are protected.
Operates in commercial environment requiring high level of decision making within short time frame to meet internal and external stakeholder schedule requirements.
What are you going to do
Facilitate, develop and prepare contracts supported by effective tendering and compensation strategies.
Analyze and formulate best tendering strategy and control the tendering activities for timely award to the right contractor.
Analyze the tender/contract requirements, discuss with end users and arrive at a suitable tender strategy, scope review, pricing schedules and tender issue.
Prepare tender committee recommendations for various stages of approval.
Perform in the completion of the tendering process, coordinate approvals for tender documents and prepare large complex tender packages including formulation of pricing strategy.
Coordinate in arranging pre-bid clarification meetings/site visits and resolve all technical, contractual and commercial queries.
Facilitate in the bid evaluation process, price negotiations and contract terms with Bidder to obtain the best value for the Company.
Assist in the development, update of the demand plan, and organise contracts alignment meetings.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Management discipline or other relevant degree.
8 years’ experience in a contracts management environment within the oil and gas industry.
Good knowledge of Contract laws and industry practices.
Technical knowledge in reviewing and preparing technical Contracts.
Proficient in written and Spoken English.
Computer Literacy (MS Office) including working knowledge of business software programs, networking and SAP.
Strong analytical skills.
