Introduction

Senior Civil Structural Engineer – Energy Efficiency will perform civil and structural engineering activities for Energy Efficiency Projects’ Engineering Section to execute key engineering activities ensuring that all activities comply with International standards, company’s processes and Industry best practices to achieve project delivered to the highest standards.

What are you going to do

  • Ensure Civil and Structural Engineering activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications and approved variations if any;
  • Resolve engineering issues that may arise during FEED / EPC and communicate with the Project Execution Team. Elevate issues to higher levels when necessary;
  • Ensure engineering design aligned with companies’ expectations consistent with the company, Shareholders and Project’s objectives;
  • Be focal point from discipline for any studies outside Civil/Structural Engineering such as DRA, HAZOP, HAZID, CER, Constructability review, etc;
  • Evaluate complex tasks and provide appropriate recommendations to projects engineering management on issues. Provide support to other disciplines and contribute to other project multi-disciplinary tasks.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in Engineering or Science majoring in Engineering in the area of specialization;
  • 12 years’ experience in the area of specialization within Oil and Gas industry, of which 6 years’ are in project management team role;
  • Hands on experience in all aspect of Civil/Structural including structural design software (STAAD).

  • Day rate in USD plus allowances
