  • Asset & Personnel Protection: Safeguard high-value operational assets, site infrastructure, precious resources, and personnel (both local and expat workforce) across remote site operations.

  • Incident Management & Emergency Response: Lead crisis management protocols, emergency response planning, and immediate incident investigations, ensuring high readiness for security breaches or community disruptions.

  • Stakeholder & Community Relations: Maintain strong liaison networks with local law enforcement, military authorities, local government bodies, and surrounding community leaders to foster a stable operating environment.

  • Contractor & Vendor Management: Manage external security vendors, guard forces, and technical security contractors, ensuring performance compliance, ethical conduct, and strict adherence to human rights principles (e.g., Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights - VPSHR).

  • Security Intelligence & Auditing: Conduct regular threat assessments, security audits, and risk intelligence gathering to proactively mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Background: Professional background in law enforcement, military service, or corporate security within multinational resource companies is highly preferred.

  • Frameworks & Compliance: Deep understanding of international security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and human rights guidelines (e.g., VPSHR).

  • Crisis Leadership: Proven capacity to manage high-stress situations, crisis responses, and complex stakeholder landscapes in remote areas.

  • Languages: Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) is essential for high-level stakeholder engagement and reporting.
