Introduction

Brunel have partnered with a leading Australian energy business to deliver the best work opportunities for IT & Technical professionals within Australia. We are currently seeking a SCADA Engineering Specialist to work on a contract basis across multiple key projects within their portfolio of assets.

What are you going to do

As a SCADA Project Engineer you will primarily be working with Schneider products to develop and manage the delivery of OT programs of work and provide technical design and consultancy services across the business.

You will be accountable for providing effective solutions to meet operational requirements within the OT remit by having an in depth understanding of the domain. Your skills across SCADA, RTU integration and project guidance will be pivotal as you develop and manage complex multi-stakeholder, multi-discipline programs of work.

Essential skills and knowledge 

The key skills that will lead to you being successful in this position include:

  • Extensive knowledge of GeoSCADA or ClearSCADA, and SCADAPack.
  • Understanding and experience within the energy industry.
  • Multiple years of hands on experience in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of operational technology within the wider energy industry.
  • Knowledge of appropriate and relevant statutory requirements, and Australian engineering codes.
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement and ability to deliver change within technical functions.

You will receive an industry leading daily rate throughout your contract, including regular meetings with Brunel to ensure all contract conditions are exceeding expectations.

Your initial contract will be for 12 months, with review to extend at the end of the initial period.
