Brunel Indonesia is supporting our client in finding a qualified QS - Cost Estimator to join their team.

If you have a strong background in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and project cost management, this could be your next career opportunity!

What are you going to do

  • Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns for project activities.

  • Review drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy.

  • Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to support budgeting and cost planning.

  • Evaluate quotations, variations, and potential cost impacts.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate cost assessments.

  • Support cost monitoring and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or project cost control.

  • Strong understanding of BOQs, cost breakdowns, quantity take-offs, and estimating methods.

  • Proficiency in Excel and relevant estimating or project tools.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • Experience in mining, EPC, construction, or large-scale industrial projects would be an advantage.
