Introduction

Our client a market leader in the mining industry located in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract.

Reporting to the Sustaining Capital Principal Advisor, this role provides program management support for a large portfolio of bulk earthworks and civil projects across various divisions.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and manage a range of stakeholders
  • 5 Years experience in bulk earth works / civil projects & tailings
  • Acquire and standardise project data (cost, schedule, scope, maturity) from stakeholders
  • Manage project data to develop opportunities for continuous project pipelines
  • Support the development of commercial models for programs of work
  • Report progress and manage risks

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and be driven to achieve results
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in project delivery
  • Excellent computer skills and able to manage multiple software applications
  • Minimum 5 years project managing bulk earthworks projects
  • Experience in construction projects for mining companies in the Pilbara
  • Capability in managing P6 schedule
