Introduction

Brunel are looking for a Petroleum Engineering Petrophysics with 15 + years experience to work for our Major global clients

Start date: ASAP

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland

Duration: 12 Months

What are you going to do

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include well and reservoir management, providing high quality PP input into hydrocarbon maturation projects, identification/assurance of business opportunities of the assigned field(s) and operational support during drilling phases;
  • Deliver data acquisition planning support and support drilling and logging operations for HPHT project;
  • As a UK petrophysics team member provide flexible operations support across SUKEP portfolio activities (exploration and development drilling, WRFM and abandonment);
  • Ability to provide QC for petrophysical products and programs.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • 15 years offshore and onshore experience in the safe operational delivery of wells;
  • Experience in both NPNT and HPHT logging environments;
  • Expert level knowledge and experience in all aspects of petrophysical data acquisition;
  • Expert level in petrophysical interpretation techniques (LWD, Wireline, core, WRFM and abandonment) and software, advantage for candidates with previous Tec log use;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment including service companies.
