Introduction
What are you going to do
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support a major FPSO project at TBY Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical equipment installation, testing, and quality compliance throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect installation of rotating and static equipment.
- Verify alignment, bolt tightening, preservation, and mechanical completion.
- Witness functional tests and pre-commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
- Review inspection records and vendor documentation.
- Monitor punch list closure.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience.
- Knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, and mechanical equipment installation.
- Familiar with international inspection standards.
FPSO Experience
- Experience in FPSO, offshore oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or marine projects.
- Knowledge of rotating and static equipment installation and inspection.
- Familiarity with mechanical completion and commissioning requirements.
- Duration: 12 Months
- Location: TBY Yard
- Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week, 10 Hours/Day
- Annual Leave: 14 Days
