Introduction

Brunel International is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at the KOC Production Facility in North Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical fitting services to the facility and will be expected to complete the contract within one month.

What are you going to do

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for providing mechanical fitting services to the KOC Production Facility in North Kuwait. The successful candidate must have experience in the following areas;
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on production equipment;
Installing and maintaining new machinery and equipment;
Ensuring all safety regulations are followed during installation and maintenance of machinery;
Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment;
Working with engineering teams to ensure that all installations are completed correctly;
Completing all necessary paperwork associated with repairs, maintenance, and installation of machinery;
Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during installation and maintenance of machinery;
Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment as needed;
Working with other departments to ensure smooth operations of production processes;
The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and must be willing to work long hours if necessary. The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving skills.

Essential skills and knowledge

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
Knowledge of safety regulations related to mechanical fitting services;
Ability to read technical drawings;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ability to work independently or as part of a team;
Ability to work long hours if necessary;
Ability to troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment;
Knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques for production equipment;
Experience working with engineering teams on installations or repairs is preferred but not required.
