Introduction
To Provide technical Support to project Team (CAT III to VI) with respect to Instrument/Measurement Systems including Metering systems/ Analyzer systems;
Operated in technical environment with Interface and multiple internal and external stakeholders;
Provide technical support to all CAT III to VI Metering/ online analyzer and Environmental Measurement systems Projects being executed by PMD, within COMPANY in RLIC.
What are you going to do
Provide technical advice and support as required on the design, construction and modification of all Measurement Systems together with vendor and contractor support;
Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the Project Management Team (PMT). Elevate issues to higher management when necessary;
Plan and prepare work scope between various departments, divisions, sections and disciplines during instrumentation /Measurement engineering activities to ensure a smooth completion of planned activities;
Ensure that the Engineering documents are reviewed considering Safety in Operability/Maintainability;
Ensure all Measurement systems and associated equipment being executed through projects are fit for purpose and meet QPMG, Regulatory Requirements and International Standards;
Participates and assists as required in the upgrading of current procedures to meet changing or additional requirements. Prepares/reviews Work and Calibration instructions for all Measurement systems for projects;
Reviews Measurement Project Specifications and attends equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) if required during the FEED and EPC stages of Expansion Projects. Resolves Engineering issues during the Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Commissioning during the construction/commissioning stages of the Project;
Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provides expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule;
Reviews Project Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, participate in execution Risk Assessment and verify compliance to Safe Work Practice (SWP) to assure safe execution and ePTW compliance;
Mentor the National Developer as per the development plan.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Degree in Engineering with Instrumentation;
8 years' experience in an oil and gas environment of which minimum three years should be in Engineering of Measurement systems;
Good knowledge of all Measurement systems, including LNG, with specific experience on orifice, ultrasonic, Coriolis and turbine technology;
Additional knowledge of Analyzer Systems including Gas Chromatographs, CEMS, Continuous Analyzers;
Knowledgeable with the relevant standards, in particular ISO, MPMS and AGA;
Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills);
Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools and specifications.
