Introduction

On behalf of our Client, a high profile Company within the Energy, Oil & Gas sector, Brunel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated schedules that support the safe and efficient delivery of Maintenance and Operational activities. This will be a contract requirement up to December 2026, based in the Perth CBD.

What are you going to do

Working closely with Planning, Operations, Engineering and Project Teams, you will ensure schedules are aligned with business priorities, available resources and operational requirements.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise integrated maintenance and operational schedules
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor schedule performance, identifying risks, constraints and opportunities for improvement
  • Support planned maintenance activities and operational work programs
  • Ensure schedules are aligned with resource availability and changing business priorities
  • Prepare schedule reports, progress updates and performance metrics
  • Participate in planning meetings and schedule review
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and work management processes
  • Maintain compliance with organisational procedures, systems and safety standards

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Demonstrated experience in a Scheduler role within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, energy, resources, utilities, or similar operational environment
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and work management principles
  • Experience using Scheduling software such as SAP, Microsoft Project, Primavera 6 (P6) or equivalent
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
