Introduction
Brunel International is seeking an Inspection Coordinator for a 12-month renewable contract based in Rotterdam, starting ASAP. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale offshore projects within a leading global provider of innovative energy solutions, supporting safety and compliance in a dynamic environment.
What are you going to do
Responsibilities
- As an Inspection Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all equipment, materials, and processes meet stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing inspection activities to guarantee compliance and safety across complex offshore operations.
- Your duties will include developing inspection plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and third-party inspectors, maintaining detailed documentation, and managing issue resolution effectively.
- You will also liaise with vendors to ensure their inspection procedures align with project standards, providing regular updates to project management and quality assurance stakeholders.
- This role demands strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a high-profile and fast-paced environment.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical discipline
- Relevant certifications in inspection or quality assurance
- Proven experience in inspection coordination or quality assurance, preferably within the oil and gas or offshore energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control plans
- Experience in expediting, regulatory management, inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring activities
- Familiarity with SBM product knowledge, purchasing tools, package management, and third-party relations management is advantageous
- Proficiency in inspection management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
