What are you going to do

Our client, a leading player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client's team in Bangalore. In this role, you will drive the design and engineering of reliable, cost-effective, and safe HVAC solutions for offshore and shipping vessel projects, directly supporting our client's operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards, and regulations.
  • Responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within the agreed timeframe, as well as ensuring system interfaces.
  • Ensure that the Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both contractual requirements and SBM's internal requirements.
  • Ensure applicable lessons learned are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM's internal requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Engineering Degree / Diploma in a Relevant Discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant engineering/design activities.

    • Heat Load Calculation
    • Vendor Document Review
    • Package Management Review
    • HAZID
    • HAZOP
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Vessel-related engineering
