What are you going to do

An up and coming listed marine company (MNC) with yards in Singapore and Batam as well as operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and soon to be Korea is looking for a Human Resource (HR) Manager who will provide support and oversee growth of the company's footprint.

Job Description:

  • Provide ESOS implementation and managing ESOS of staff
  • Monitoring and managing compensation/benefits and KPIs of staff
  • Managing and supporting overseas subsidiaries HR in Taiwan and Malaysia
  • Provide day-to-day support in broad spectrum HR and Administrative functions
  • Full employee life cycle including recruitment, selection, on-boarding, orientation and off-boarding
  • Preparation of letters, forms, email correspondence, etc.
  • Proper maintenance of personal information in P-file and Timesoft payroll system
  • Payroll processing in 2 cycles, using Prosoft system. Overtime calculation base on timesheet collected end of the month.
  • Responsible for renewal of worker-related insurance policies (i.e. WIC, FWMI, GHS), submission of employees’ personal and income data, obtaining quotations and management approval
  • Person-in-charge for all insurance claim matters; including but not limited to liaising with employees, brokers, lawyers and medical institution on required treatment, claim documents, claim status, etc.
  • Manage and co-ordinate all training activities including enrolment, payment request, disseminate course confirmation, participant's training evaluation, updating training records, etc.
  • Other duties assigned by HOD

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Must have be knowledgeable in Employee Stock Options Scheme (ESOS)
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Prosoft payroll is a must
  • High integrity when handling confidential information
  • Working experience in listed company
  • Must be able to accept mundane administrative duties
  • Incumbent must be prepared to put in extra working hours when required
  • Candidate must be willing to learn and proactively engaged stakeholders
  • The ideal candidate must possesses strong communication ability
