Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Has significant experience, technical knowledge and valid license to operate a fire-fighting vehicle (e.g., single cab or double cab fire tender)
  • Capable of perform minor vehicle maintenance
  • Has background experience as a fire fighter in an oil/gas, petrochemical, power and water utilities or equivalent industry for a minimum of 5 years
  • License to operate/drive a heavy vehicle (specifically fire fighting vehicle) with previous valid license from authorized issuing party (e.g., Traffic Directorate)
  • (MUST) NFPA 1001 Certification as Firefighter 1 and 2
  • Attended relevant training on handling hazardous events or incidents such as HAZMAT Awareness and HAZMAT Operations
  • Physically and Medically Fit
  • Age limit: 45 years old
  • Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Has significant knowledge of Heavy vehicle and Pump Operations
  • Has ability to carry out vehicle inspection
  • Has knowledge on fire safety inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, indoor/outdoor hydrants and fire hoses
  • Has relevant knowledge in industrial firefighting system such water-based system, foam deluge system
  • Advance First Aider and knowledge of AED

    • Monthly Rate in QAR Plus Allowance
  • Work Schedule:
    • 8 Hours / 5 Days
  • Duration:
    • 2 years, with possible extension
  • Location:
    • Qatar
