Introduction

  • Identifies and aligns business requirements, with product owners and Business SME’s
  • Maps Business requirements to DBS requirements
  • Ensures the delivered Digital solution fits the business requirements identified during the Agile development within the constraints of the existing on prem and digital/cloud infrastructure
  • Maps Business requirements to DBS requirements
  • Coordinates and supports vendor, or 3rd party, BA and requirements gathering and common procedures and ways of working in Digital.

What are you going to do

  • Together with the Scrum Master and/or Digital management, leads ideation sessions for new Products or Functionalities and is responsible for documenting the identified information (data requirements vs. availability, data sources discovery, functional and non-functional requirements etc.) throughout the agile development
  • Gathers and formulates both non-DBS and DBS high level Digital business requirements and process improvement opportunities
  • Designs or documents processes, analyzes business requirements and defines functional specifications – using various techniques (eg SIPOC, process mapping, UML functionality diagrams, high level data requirements, high level data models etc)
  • Works together with product owners to develop Agile user stories that are used to develop complete software or software features that fit the end-user requirements.
  • Use Case Development
  • Work within the Agile team, delivering Digital Products, both in terms of new Digital Use Cases and enhancements / changes to existing live Use Cases.
  • Works creatively to drive the business and DBS teams towards innovative solutions to the business requirements
  • Assist the product owner with creating and maintaining a healthy and ordered product backlog
  • Collaborate with designers and software developers to create the optimal User Experience, not only in terms of end user usability and comfort, but also bearing in mind application performance and network loading time limitations (depending on whether the application users are situated onshore or offshore)
  • Communicate with other teams and stakeholders to identify, document, monitor and resolve dependencies Use Case Testing & Acceptance
  • Create and document testing scenarios, use cases and support manuals
  • Run user and regression tests to ensure high product quality
  • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manages hand-over to DBS delivery
  • Use Case embedding with operating rhythm
  • Assist the Product Owner develop and document communication plan and activities. Assists the Product Owner with the execution of Stakeholder communication and management
  • Together with the Product Owner and Business SMEs, responsible for creating, documenting and updating training material ahead of go live and in conjunction with any enhancement/change carried out during the lifecycle of the Digital Products
  • Use Case Maintenance
  • Manages maintenance of process performance and developed solutions:
  • Incidents and small changes raised by users
  • Small process improvements such as reference data or authorization levels
  • Use case Enhancement management
  • Anticipate customer needs and expectations and make recommendations about products or features that the company should consider developing to enhance the positive customer experience
  • Works closely with the Digital Twin IT Support team to identify root causes of repeated incidents and suggests enhancements and improvements to the live solution to resolve said root causes within a management of change process Controlled
  • Guides the Product Owners, Business SMEs and DBS & vendors SMEs in performing Management of Change activities (impact assessment, risk assessment, etc) on any enhancement, change request or new feature requirements so that risks and issues are not increased nor introduced by the change being evaluated.
  • Supports and delivers content for Digital, such as RFIs, SoW content and other items in the delivery of Digital
  • Responsible for defining Digital requirements gathering and standardized ways of working
  • Responsible for alignment with any 3rd parties, such as vendors, and contract BA delivery provided from a contracted vendor on Use Cases and their definition.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt as minimum – Black Belt preferred) – other business process modeling and analysis methods will be considered
  • Expert in relevant business process in the O&G industry
  • Good problem solving and facilitation skills, great time management and organization skills, team spirit behaviour, and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to document Business / Digital requirements in 'unambiguous' manner
  • Information Solutions
  • Good understanding of business process management concepts and techniques and extensive knowledge of the business, data and IT domain
  • Understanding of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA)
  • Technical understanding and ability to understand how DBS systems and technology can help solve business problems
  • Project Management
  • Knowledge, certification & experience with agile development and with UX/User Center Design principles.
  • Fluent in English as a business language.
  • Ability to influence.
