Introduction

What are you going to do

  • Manage the design process from concept through to construction.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and project teams.
  • Review documentation, design changes, approvals and buildability.
  • Identify and resolve design issues before they impact delivery.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and clients.
  • Manage design risks, programme and consultant deliverables.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager with a head contractor.
  • Must have experience delivering industrial projects up to $20M.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and buildability.
  • Experienced managing multidisciplinary consultants and design teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
  • Australian or New Zealand head contractor experience required.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen / NZ Citizen..
