Introduction
What are you going to do
Working across civil subdivision projects, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, quantities and tender documentation
- Developing cost build-ups across earthworks, roadworks and underground services
- Pricing labour, plant, materials and subcontractor requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the estimating process
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and key cost considerations
- Working closely with the estimating and construction teams
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
We're looking for:
- Previous estimating experience within civil construction
- Experience across civil subdivisions and land development
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodology and project costs
- Experience estimating earthworks, roadworks and underground services
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to work through estimates from project documentation through to final pricing
For the Senior Estimator position, you will need proven first-principles estimating experience across:
- Stormwater
- Sewer and water pipework
- Roadworks
- Bulk earthworks
