Introduction

We are seeking an experienced CFO/FC to join in the leadership team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, tax and compliance for overseas projects and business. In addition to core finance responsibilities, you will play a critical leadership role in supporting the company's overseas business expansion. You will report to CEO and work closely with Leadership Team, lead and develop an existing finance team with around 20 staff.

What are you going to do

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including FP&A, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and etc for overseas projects.
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to support business growth and risk management.
  • Responsible for cross-border tax planning and tax structure for overseas renewable energy projects.
  • Identify and mitigate global financial risks to safeguard business operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with key external stakeholders and group leadership to align financial objectives with broader business goals.
  • Drive financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and investor communications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Maintain high standards of reporting quality and transparency
  • Finance team management and development.
  • Other responsibilities CEO assigned.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • 10+ years of finance related experience, including 3+ years as a CFO/VP or senior finance
  • Renewable industry (Solar, Wind, BESS and others) or related experience is preferred.
  • Experience of managing overseas entities.
  • High level of resilience, adaptability, and stress tolerance in dynamic business environments.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent English & Chinese language skills.
