Introduction

PT Brunel Service Indonesia is currently seeking an experienced Technician - Rotating Equipment for 6 months renewal contract-based position in Bekasi, West Java. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of rotating machinery and gear systems to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our client's facilities.

What are you going to do 

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and overhaul of rotating equipment and gear systems, including compressors, pumps, fans, blower and gearboxes
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including gear-related faults, and implement effective corrective actions
  • Conduct vibration analysis, equipment balancing, and alignment of rotating machinery and gears
  • Monitor equipment and gear system performance, implementing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment/gear performance data
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Indonesian nationality
  • Strong English communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience: Preferably 3-5 years in a similar role within the mechanical engineering industry
  • Solid technical expertise in maintenance and overhaul of rotating equipment and gear systems
  • Proficiency in:
    • Vibration analysis tools
    • Alignment and balancing equipment
    • Gearbox inspection and repair tools
  • Ability to read and interpret:
    • Technical manuals
    • Mechanical drawings
    • Schematics
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • CV must be submitted in English
