Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Engineer to support subsea transport and installation activities on a major offshore project. The role includes technical coordination, engineering review, and offshore campaign support on installation vessels.

What are you going to do

Provide engineering support for subsea transport and installation (T&I) scopes during offshore construction campaigns.
Review contractor deliverables including installation procedures, lift plans, sea fastening, and deployment analysis.
Coordinate technical interfaces between installation contractors, suppliers, vessel teams, and project delivery teams.
Ensure contractor activities comply with approved engineering, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
Support resolution of technical queries and engineering issues during planning and offshore execution.
Participate in technical reviews, planning meetings, and offshore readiness activities.
Supervise subsea installation activities onboard offshore construction vessels.
Attend daily offshore coordination meetings and support installation planning.
Provide installation progress updates and reporting to the project team.
Manage technical interfaces between contractors, vessel teams, and Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) representatives.

Essential skills and knowledge

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience working on offshore subsea or offshore construction projects.
Experience working onboard offshore installation or construction vessels highly regarded.
Knowledge of subsea transport and installation (T&I) operations preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain BOSIET, MSIC, and offshore medical certification.
Full Australian working rights required.
